These fake foods joined the collection of Underhill Haunted House in 2024 as part of their haunted dining room space.

After finding inspiration in Meret Oppenheim’s ‘Object’, a fur covered cup, saucer, and spoon, I wanted to create fake foods that could produce visceral sensations of disgust. Instead of gore, I focused on textures like mold, insects, and rot to build foods that appeared carefully prepared and, perhaps, suddenly, and eternally abandoned.
