As an artist, I was first able to find my own, uncensored voice through intuitive collage starting in late 2022.

Since then I've started to incorporate my two-dimensional paper-based work into three-dimensional sculptural costume pieces made of a variety of found and repurposed materials.

For this headpiece I cut and layered tiny velvet hearts from salvaged clothing, velveteen heart shapes and filmy, dimensional layers of tulle, decomposing vintage fabric from a free pile, modified pieces of oversized playing cards and incorporated some plastic fake florals.
